MODERN DRAWN VERSAL LETTERS | November 29

These drawn letters or "versals" were used by medieval scribes to begin verses of text and were elaborately decorated.  In this workshop we will learn a modern approach by drawing the outline of the versal letters and fill them in with fun decorative designs or with watercolour.  Kathy will share examples of how she has created these letters.  Please bring pencil, ruler, eraser, blank 8-1/2" x 11" paper, small set of watercolours, small paint brush, and $12 for  pen and art quality paper.
